This remote pilot certificate is a nationally recognised and fully accredited course for individuals wanting to operate remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS). The RPAS certificate is recognised by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
Course Overview: Fixed Wing & Multirotor, Practical and Theory
Course Duration: Online plus 4 day’s classroom theory - 4 days practical field
Outcome: CASA RePL Certificate – Cert III Accreditation
Cost: $4750 (+$500 for additional type)
Successful completion will require demonstrating competency in units aligned at AQF level 3.
The AVI30316 Certificate forms some of the requirements for certification by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) as described in Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) Part 101 Division 101.F.3.—Certification of Remote Pilots (RePL).
The course is offered on a full-time basis. The theory component of the course is undertaken online. Upon completion of the theory, classroom, in-field training and assessment takes place over a ten day period.
